GratitudePosted: October 14, 2010 Filed under: Brothers Karamazov 4 Comments
Today the Romgi’s dad came down to Provo to take the Bwun to the park and lunch. It was going to be a nice break for me – and if we scheduled it right, the Romgi and I could have lunch together.
Between the freeway and our house, the Romgi’s dad was in a terrible car accident. A truck ran a red light and ran into two cars, the second of which was the Romgi’s dad’s. All three cars were totaled – and while the driver of the truck was bleeding (his truck flipped upside down), the other two drivers were unhurt. The truck glanced off the first car and basically landed on top of the hood of the Romgi’s dad’s car.
It was an extremely close call and we’re all so, so thankful that the Romgi’s dad was fine. If it weren’t for the first car, the Romgi’s dad would have been hit dead on the driver’s side and would probably not have survived. I can’t believe how lucky he is for being in such an unlucky situation. Our family is very grateful for the Lord’s protection in keeping him safe! I’ll give up a break from the Bwun any day for having that in our lives.
