Early
Posted: January 2, 2013 Filed under: All's Well That Ends Well 2 CommentsThis morning, Jarom’s cousin got married in Bountiful. And by “this morning” I mean we had to get up at an ungodly hour to get there in time. Don’t get me wrong, it was totally worth it, but I am still (never will be) a morning person. Jarom can attest to my intense grouchiness while we were getting ready and driving up.
When the ceremony was over, we picked up the kids from my cousin’s house and headed back down to Springville. And Jarom, who is the best and most patient person in the world, offered to manage the kids while I took a looooooong nap.
Oh, by the way, do you live in Utah? It’s been ridiculously cold here lately. I’m glad if you live somewhere warmer, because when we got in the car this morning, it said it was 9°F. And our car usually reads about 5 degrees warmer than it really is. Jarom’s brother said it was -2°F when he left his house!
This is further evidence that no one should be up so early in the day.
Isn’t it ironic to have to get up at an ungodly hour to go to the temple?
Ironic, yes. Also devastating and horrible.
