Purple

Sorry, Mom, but I put purple in my hair.
(Well, more accurately, I paid someone competent to put purple in my hair. And I love it.)

Ah, I remember the good old days of you going to a friend’s house to dye your hair various odd shades of red. I think this suits you better.
