I saw this painting a while ago on Pinterest, and I really love it:

Unfortunately, I don’t know who the artist is. The image on Pinterest links to a post on tumblr, which I can only trace back to this other tumblr post. Do you have any idea how to find out who painted this?

I’m considering (someday) doing something similar, with another famous and easily recognizable painting. Maybe Starry Night? What would you do?

Caterpillar

Yesterday morning we found a caterpillar while we were playing outside! It has been an object of much admiration. We put it in a baby food jar with some leaves and grass and sticks. That’s what you do with caterpillars, right? The kids and I are headed to California in a few days, so we’ll see if it does ok without us.
