Family Reunion 2 of 2
Posted: August 7, 2008 Filed under: All's Well That Ends Well, Brothers Karamazov 2 CommentsThe Romgi’s side of the family, this past week in Brian Head, Utah.
I’d like to insert that shortly after we went down the next switchback after these pictures, it started hailing. Hail is actually quite painful to walk in, especially when the weather was nice when you left the cabin so you wore a t-shirt and the only comfy pants that fit anymore. Then the hail turned into a downpour, which continued for about an hour while we continued hiking. Needless to say, I was thoroughly soaked and thoroughly freezing.
Finally the rain let up.
When I get it from Krista, I’ll add a picture of the Romgi and I at the end of the hike. We look appropriately sad about being soaked to the bone.
All in all, though, it was a great trip and a fun hike (in retrospect)! What have you been up to this summer?

Eureka!
Posted: June 10, 2008 Filed under: Romgi the Enigma 4 CommentsThe other day I asked the Romgi, “Can you tell I’ve been gaining weight?” (I was instructed by my doctor to do so.)
He tossed me a quick look of panic. How to respond? My face was a blank, so he couldn’t tell if I wanted him to say yes (I am supposed to gain weight, after all) or no (who wants to gain weight and look like it?).
Then: “The only way I can tell is that you say the numbers on the scale are going up.”
…I didn’t even know there was a right answer! Bravo, husband!
